'Are they meat or models?'
The models, who were akin to quarantined aliens in the creepy display, remained motionless as fashion fans marvelled the bizarre display. Others pointed out that the tubes in the bags may be used as a breathing aide (although some of the models remained eerily still in their foetal-like position the entire show). Words from

Anselm Kiefer - White Cube Visit
I was inspired by the draping of the material and how the artist used Lead as a material throughout the exhibition but in particular these pieces appear to be made out of a lighter flowing material like the Lace trimmings I have in my sketchbook.
The bottom diagram made me think of draping lace down the back of a body like Hair, or creating hair like forms out of unusual materials to create my own Lace pattern.

I am expanding on my initial research on BDSM, the Gay sex industry and Gay pride by researching the use of constriction and bold designs on the runway for men that I feel are sexual.

Peter De Cupere's description of his work
Sweat is a performance in which the sweat of 5 dancers was caught.
They wear specially designed costumes that were made out of plastic and connected by tubes.
Before the action, the artist made a separate dish for each dancer.
The intention is to catch the sweat from the dancers and to distill it. The concrete of the sweat is sprayed on a wall of the dance lab and protected by a glass box. In the glass is a small hole where visitors can smell the sweat. The performance is shown by video next to the glass box.
Piper Shepard Lacing Space
I like Piper Shepard's work that I researched from the Bibliography, it is similar to Do Ho Suh's work. I want to use this research and concept of making a building type structure out of thin transparent coloured material merged with Water Soluble Material to pursue the concept of a destructible type of gating or building down ones back. This would be to reflect on Gay Men losing their Virginity or the breaking down of homophobia within todays society. The placement on the mans back is important as it can be suggestive to a man finding or losing a part of themselves from exploring their sexuality.
Sculptural Work
Do Ho Suh's work which is mostly made out of Polyester reminds me of Lace as it looks lightweight, transparent, has similar intricacies and details that are found in lace fabric
